You'll explore working with clay, shaping forms, refining details and understanding how functional ceramics are designed for daily use while having a great time in the process.
All materials, tools and firing are included — just bring your curiosity, and they will ensure a wonderful experience as part of the limited Canberra Made workshop series at the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre.
Over the course of the workshop, you'll create:
A hand‑built ceramic matcha pouring bowl.
A small handmade tea cup to match your bowl.
An adorable mini matcha bowl charm.
Your pieces will be professionally fired and ready for collection from the Visitors Centre or The Ceramic Studio in Mitchell approximately two weeks after the workshop.
