The Ginninderra Wind Orchestra brings an evening of live music to the Brass Stage at Lyneham Shops as part of the beloved Light Up Lyneham festival.
The 80-member Canberra-based community concert band performs a program filled with familiar favourites spanning generations. Expect beloved classics from The Beatles, Phil Collins, Blue Moon, Tequila and Can't Take My Eyes Off You. From timeless jazz standards to iconic pop hits, the orchestra delivers a program that feels both celebratory and warmly familiar.
Conducted by Debbie Masling OAM and Ben Green, the Ginninderra Wind Orchestra has been bringing live music to the Canberra community since 1987. One of the region's most cherished community ensembles, the orchestra performs throughout Canberra and surrounding regions year-round.
Light Up Lyneham is a vibrant community celebration hosted by the Lyneham Community Association. Families, friends and music lovers of all ages are warmly welcome to enjoy a glowing Canberra evening of live community music surrounded by beautiful illuminations and a warm local culture.
