Be inspired by the colours, shapes, and landscapes of Canberra. Jenny will guide attendees through a painting of the View from Regatta Point of Lake Burley Griffin, the National Library and Parliament House. This workshop is perfect for beginners, offering a supportive space where kids can build confidence, experiment with colour, and express their own ideas.
Participants will be introduced to simple painting methods and encouraged to develop their own artistic style, with Jenny sharing tips and inspiration along the way. By the end of the session, each young artist will complete their own painted canvas (sized 31cm x 41cm) to take home.
This is a relaxed and engaging experience that combines creativity, skill-building, and fun—ideal for kids who love art or would like to give it a try in a friendly environment.
Part of the Canberra Made Series, this workshop celebrates local creativity while giving young people the opportunity to learn from a Canberra-based self taught artist.
